Certainly, there are more than a few sixth-generation Chevrolet Camaro owners who plan on building, boosting and birthing incredible straight-line vehicles. However, there are also the owners who will likely take advantage of the 2016 Chevrolet Camaro‘s lightweight, dynamic chassis, too.
And that’s where some aerodynamic modifications come in. That’s also where ACS Composite enters the picture. The Canadian company has revealed its upcoming aero kit for the sixth-generation Camaro, and it will offer its kit across the lineup of SS, V6 and turbo-four variants.
All models receive winglets, side rockers, fender inserts and a gorgeous rear spoiler. SS models also receive a unique splitter and aeronautical deflectors up front, too.
ACS Composite is also an OE manufacturer, which means build quality should be superb. However, with quality, comes price. We don’t know how much the kit will run, but we have a feeling more than a few owners will be interested. Especially to replace the awkward, factory rear spoiler.
ACS Composite is eying a late June production for the kit, with more information to come.
Comment
ASC Composite’s body kit in the pictures look great; but the important question is whether they do anything or are they like the fake hood scoops of yesteryear and would reduce overall performance because of the extra weight not to mention the hit in the pocketbook.
