We’ve all been told that drunk driving is a very stupid thing to do. We’ve all endured the countless reminders in high school, and the corresponding videos of mangled metal, and altered lives. Yet, for some reason, there are still buffoons out there who think they can be an exception. This story is about one of those said buffoons, and unfortunately it involves the destruction of a Chevrolet Corvette.
A 54-year-old man from Howell Township, New Jersey recently ended up destroying his 1988 C4 Corvette after choosing to drive under the influence. A witness informed the police that the driver had given the witness the middle finger as he made an illegal pass. As karma would have it, the suspect wound up losing control of the vehicle, flipping over a guardrail, and getting handcuffed.
The driver of the Corvette luckily had only minor injuries, and he faces charges of driving while intoxicated, reckless driving, and other offenses. Fortunately no one else was hurt, and serves as a reminder to reconsider a senseless act.
