Accident Watch: Buick LaCrosse Lands Atop Two BMWs In Montreal

Well, you could say the Buick certainly stuck its landing. Local Montreal news affiliate CTV reports an 84 year-old man was driving his Buick LaCrosse when he had a medical emergency, leading to the accident seen above.

The Buick struck a low-bearing wall, which launched the LaCrosse into the air before landing on top of two BMW 3-Series. The report does not state the condition of the Buick driver, but no one else was injured in the freakish accident.

The 84 year-old driver reportedly had a medical emergency behind the wheel, leading to his loss of control.

  1. Does this mean Buick stomps on BMW?
    🙂
    (just making fun here)

This first gen LaCrosse was called Allure in Canada.
And its drivers are indeed seniors. I personally saw only one exception ever – two youngsters in their 20s were in the front seats at that moment.

    1. Nice to know how Buick can stomp BMW. BTW, I sold my 1995 Buick Regal (I bought it in 1994) to a 85 year old friend. I will show him this news item so he can do the same BMW stomping here!
