We had the opportunity to sit down with Ken Lingenfelter himself during the Lingenfelter spring open house event, where Lingenfelter invites the public to grab a glance of Ferrari row, and plenty of LS power on display.

During our conversation, Lingenfelter touches on what the latest C7 Corvette Stingray, Z06 and sixth-generation Camaro means for LPE, and how an emphasis on OEM personal mobility likely won’t mean alienating the tuning and engineering house’s core consumer.

At the same time, we spoke with Lingenfelter about the Dream Giveaway, which features an 800 hp, 2016 C7 Corvette Z06. The Corvette is serial number 001 of a new LPE signature series coming for the car, as well as the sixth-generation Chevrolet Camaro. Most of the love has been applied to performance portion of things, but a few exterior and interior modifications make anyone aware there’s something special going on.

  1. As the old adage goes.. talk is cheap as the conversation with Ken Lingenfelter would have been more interesting if it was in a Lingenfelter C7 Corvette Z06 on a track and putting the car through it’s paces, describing how the extra 150 horsepower changes the driving dynamics of the C7 Corvette Z06 compared with the stock car.
