Unicorn-Like GMC Syclone To Go To Highest Bidder At Oakland County Auction

On Saturday, May 21, a 1991 GMC Syclone will be up for grabs at the annual Oakland County auction. There are only approximately 3,000 copies of the 4WD, 4.3L V6 turbocharged pickups. These trucks easily go for upwards of $20,000 and for good reason – it is one of GM’s greatest performance pickups of all time. This particular truck has under 14,000 miles on it, so we expect it to sell for a little above average.

With 280 horsepower it was no slouch for the time, and is a perfect example of a sleeper vehicle, with a 0-60 time of 4.3 seconds. Though, a superb Syclone sleeper won’t be the only performance-oriented vehicle to auctioned off at the Vehicle Operations Building in Pontiac, Michigan. There will be 71 other vehicles, including a 1980 Chevrolet Camaro with an LS engine from a Corvette, as reported by MLive. If you’re interested in seeing the rest of the inventory, or would like to know more about how you could be the lucky bidder to drive this ’91 Syclone home, click here.
