Rare 1967 Chevrolet Camaro RS Z/28 To Cross The Block At Mecum Indianapolis

Long before the marvelous, LS7-powered fifth-gen Chevrolet Camaro Z/28 came into existence, there was the original Z28, such as this 1 of 602 1967 Camaro RS Z/28.

Fitted with the Rally Sport package, this Camaro is equipped with a matching numbers, 290 hp-rated 302 cubic-inch V8, exclusive to this trim, and a four-speed manual transmission. It flaunts a rare color option with the white stripes on Nantucket Blue exterior and Gold interior. Have a look at the rest of the notable features listed below:

  •  Documented with the Protect-O-Plate and ownership history
  •  Rare cowl plenum intake
  •  Power front disc brakes
  •  Muncie shifter, pushbutton radio
  •  Hide-Away headlights
  •  Bucket seats and console with gauges

The classic Camaro is set to cross the block at the 2016 Indianapolis Mecum auction, which runs from May 17-21. The car has a projected value of $100,000 – $125,000, and from what we can see we would certainly agree that this Camaro could earn a six figure price.
