  1. If that was a commercial it’s about the worst I have seen.

    1. It’s not a commercial, it is an interactive video. You can click and drag through the interior of the car while a simulated city exists outside. GM also did one for the new Acadia, but it was at the beach.

It’s kind of cool, in a 2005 sort of way.

  2. too much plastic buttons. and the seat controls look terrible like its fom the 80s. Jeez, the w126 has the same seat controls…

  3. GM always seems to lose the plot on its interiors.
Just not measuring up to the German brands they’re trying to compete with. It’s gonna take more than Manhattan offices and raising prices to compete.
For inspiration see Audi and/or Volvo!

  4. This video has been on Cadillac’s You Tube channel for a year now .
It is however a much nicer interior than mine , but there is nothing I don’t like about mine either .

  5. Strong points of the CT6 interior:

    -Simpler layout
    -Improved CUE System response
    -Very spacious (front and back)
-Beautiful wood options, along with good material use in some areas of the cabin (for the upper trims)
    -Massage seating

Weak points of the CT6 interior:

-Lacks the refinement of the German competitors (in virtually EVERY way!)
-Quantitative (not qualitative; i.e. low-grade) plastics on the lower sections of the door and center console
-Cheap button quality (again, quantitative, not qualitative)
-Overall dash layout, while simple and handsome, is less attractive than the competition’s

  6. I think luxury car interiors across the board have lost their way. I haven’t liked any of the Mercedes interiors for several years; BMW and Lexus continue to look dated. Audi is OK, but they still use a lot of plastic and synthetic materials. I don’t think Volvo is much better, and Tesla is just awful. Maybe they look better in real life than in photos.
