Facelifted Opel Zafira Leaks Ahead Of Paris Debut

While much news around Opel has surrounded its supposed cheating of emissions through a number of powertrain quirks, let’s discuss something new, shall we? Above is likely the refreshed Opel Zafira, coming to the 2016 Paris Motor Show in September.

CarScoops spotted an online configurator up and running for the refreshed Zafira, which has since been taken down it seems. The configurator showed the ins and outs of the vehicle, but did not provide specifications surrounding what will power the Zafira.

The current Opel Zafira was introduced five years ago with brash looks up front. This time around, Opel has cleaned things up, giving the Zafira a more corporate face, yet handsome. More conventional headlights are equipped, along with a very Astra K looking grille. In the rear, sleeker taillamps are present, looking akin to the 2017 Chrysler Pacifica in ways.

The MPV has gone largely unchanged since its introduction, but a swath of details should arrive soon as we approach the Paris show in the coming months.
