Before we were car-obsessed goons who spent all of our time eating, breathing, and sleeping anything automotive, we were Hot Wheels-obsessed children. And when you’re a kid, one of the biggest celebrities in your life is your grandma, and she just so happens to star on the second episode of #SmallTalk – well not your grandma, but a grandma.
Presented by Chevrolet and Funny Or Die, and hosted by Al Madrigal, the series is starting to find its own with the second installment. This time Al is in the new Chevrolet Spark, and is joined by Grandma and stand-up comedian Alice Wetterlund. You may recognize her from her role on the HBO sitcom Silicon Valley, as well as her guest appearances on Girl Code.
So prepare yourself for awkward moments, teenage romance, and silly laughs – then sit back and enjoy the show.

These… don’t work at all?
So I know (and like) Al Madgrigal from the Daily Show. I’m ready to laugh and see whatever Chevy is being pushed shine.
I’m not laughing. More getting creeped out. The Sonic was irrelevant. The ‘Funny’ or Die ad message? Never get in a Chevy with Al Madgrigal.
How does this help?
Well, Toyota already did it last year – comedian behind the wheel. And Comedians in a car getting coffee with Seinfeld.
But … I will say, these are way better than the Buick “viral” stuff with Ellie Kempner (the redhead) in the Cascada …
Better, yeah. The way stale pizza is better than a stale McNugget.
