Now that the 2016 Chevrolet Camaro has had some time in the hands of aftermarket tuners and performance houses, the goods are showing up.
Edelbrock is the latest to introduce a supercharger upgrade for the standard 2016 Camaro SS, and it does wonders to performance numbers. The Eaton based design bumps power to 580 hp and 548 lb-ft of torque from the stock 6.2-liter LT1 V8 engine. And, yes, those numbers are to the rear wheels, not the crank.
Better yet, the upgrade is designed to play nice with emissions systems, too, so the supercharger upgrade from Edelbrock is completely legal, even in California with its daunting standards.
So, when 450 naturally-aspirated ponies aren’t enough, Edelbrock would be more than happy to help you find the extra power.

You guys and edelbrock are both unaware the Camaro has 455hp stock!
Looks like a nice, low psi kit with a conservative tune. 125hp gains from a 2.3l blower is pretty light. I wonder if that’s all the stock fuel system will handle without upgrades.
