Chevrolet Performance Gives Us A Closer Look At The LT1 Connect & Cruise Package: Video

With 460 horsepower and 465 lb-ft of torque it’s easy to see why the direct-injection LT1 V8 is going to be the next go-to choice for engine swaps and performance builds. The engine, which is found under the hood of the 2016 Camaro SS and C7 Corvette Stingray, is offered by Chevrolet Performance in the LT1 Connect & Cruise package, which features a few different options that allow customers to tailor the package to their specific needs and wants.

Let’s say your goal is to build something that’s going to be strictly dedicated to the track, meaning you want optimum performance, you’ll want to go with a dry sump oil system. On the contrary, if it’s going to be a more mild build, a wet sump oil system will do.
