The 2018 Chevrolet Traverse has been begging for fresh air it seems. Hot on the heals of a recent round of spy shots, The Fast Lane Car has captured video of two 2018 Traverse prototypes rolling around the mountains of Colorado.
It’s clear the 2017 GMC Acadia will be on its own as a midsize crossover, because the 2018 Traverse is still looking plenty large. Three rows of seating will stick around thanks to a stretched C1XX platform. For once, we can also semi see a large, Chevrolet looking grille up front, too, paired with some angular looking headlamps.
We don’t expect to see a four-cylinder turbo in the 2018 Traverse, but anything is possible we suppose, especially knowing the new Traverse will certainly shed weight over its current iteration. Expect the 3.6-liter LGX V6 to find a home here.

Then toward the end of the video you see the next gen Equinox prototype
Looking very much like it’s own unique size and market it’s catering to. What’s a Tahoe? But, I guess the cladding may make it look larger than it actually is. We’ll see.
