Opel has a big year ahead of itself. As it continues to brush off allegations of emissions cheating, fresh, new product will be heading to dealerships. One of those new vehicles is the 2017 Opel Mokka X, the smashing hit of a compact crossover, with masculine new looks.
The new Mokka X will arrive with a starting price of €18,990, but quickly jumps to €21,690 for a variant with greater equipment, such as 17-inch alloy wheels, Opel OnStar, and leather steering wheel.
A suite of features is offered within the Opel Mokka X, including ergonomic seating, certified by the AGR, a campaign for healthier backs led by independent back-health experts. Upsclale leather apholstery may be had, too, featuring a rich, Brandy color.
Additionally, Opel OnStar is available with its plethora of product features such as Automatic Crash Response, Stolen Vehicle Assistance and Destination Download via the myOpel smartphone app. And don’t discount Apple CarPlay and Android Auto capability.
The 2017 Mokka X comes equipped (at certain trim levels) with Opel’s new 1.4-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine, paired to a six-speed automatic and adaptive all-wheel drive. Opel states this powertrain combo may be had at €26,690.
With a laundry list of features, Europe should have no issue finding homes for the Mokka X. Here, in North America, the 2017 Buick Encore will arrive this coming fall.
