After making its global debut in Dubai, the 2017 Cadillac XT5 has an official launch for the Middle Eastern region. Cadillac will bestow its latest midsize crossover in the area this coming June, with a starting price of $45,405 locally.
“The arrival of this sophisticated new crossover positions Cadillac well, as XT5 enters on of the most popular segment in the regional luxury market,” said Cadillac Middle East managing director, Felix Weller. “It’s pivotal to our ongoing growth, which is why we’ve developed XT5 from the inside out to provide customers more space, more technology, more luxury and more efficiency.”
The XT5 marks the first entry of the brand’s new “XT” designation, or “Crossover Touring” naming scheme, with numbers signifying size and model hierarchy.
The 2017 XT5 arrives at a time when midsize crossovers are booming across the globe, with the Middle East being an important growth market for Cadillac. Customers can now place orders at CadillacArabia.com, or head to their local dealers for in person deposits.
