2016 Chevrolet Cruze Heading To Brazil Later This Year

The product portfolio in Brazil is a bit different from Chevrolet’s global strategy. The Cobalt still lives on in this country as a compact car, and the Cruze fills the midsize space. Chevrolet Brazil announced the all-new, “midsize” car will be coming to the market during the second half of 2016.

The Chevrolet Cruze sits as the brand’s most successful model worldwide with millions of units sold in countless markets, but the brand briefly stated the new 2016 Chevrolet Cruze will arrive in Brazil will a unique configuration to tailor to local needs.

However, a turbocharged four-cylinder is still under the hood with standard stop/start technology for greater efficiency.

Chevrolet stated more information will arrive closer to the model’s introduction.

  1. The big question is which Cruze will Brazil get, the Chinese or North American equivalent? They are two totally different cars on different wheelbases even though they may share the same D2XX platform.
