As consumers become more conscious than ever about the environment, Vauxhall has taken initiative. The brand has announced a revelation in zero emissions vehicles with the Vauxhall Adam C, powered fully by kinetic energy.
The Vauxhall Adam C will be powered in just 15 minutes by the winding of a state-of-the-art kinetic mechanism that’s not too dissimilar to those found in children’s clockwork toys (the ‘C’ stands for clockwork).
The result is zero emissions, and no damage to the environment, while at the same time providing a refreshing workout for the owner as they turn the crank. Overall, Vauxhall estimates the Adam C to achieve 125-miles on a full crank of energy.
“Escalating fuel costs are no laughing matter,” said Anna Logg, who heads up the UK Government task force to help industry develop new and environmentally friendly transport solutions. “As such, we’re throwing our full weight behind the wind-up and will be considering subsidies and tax breaks for early adopters.”
Sometimes the greatest innovation comes from the simplest ideas.
