This Bentley Continental Replica Started Out As An Oldsmobile Cutlass: Craigslist Find

Replica cars are not uncommon, but we’ve never seen this one before – a 1991 Oldsmobile Cutlass converted into a Bentley Continental. Talk about a makeover.

We came across such a vehicle being offered for sale on Craigslist in Raleigh, North Carolina. The listing doesn’t offer a ton of information, but it does give a brief description. The mileage is unknown, but the seller states that the car drives and handles great.

Supposedly the replica kit was over $15,000. We have no reason to doubt this, though naturally we err on the side of skepticism. The exterior is an obvious improvement over the original Cutlass look. The highlight for us (if you want to call it that) would be the interior. It’s not even close to genuine Bentley quality, but it doesn’t seem to be all that bad.

Would we pay $11,000 for it? Absolutely not. Perhaps swapping out the 3400 SFI V6 for an LS and adding an insane amount of performance would make it a bit more enticing, but at that price range we would opt for something a bit more contemporary – like a used fifth-gen Chevrolet Camaro.

A car-loving millennial. We Are!
