The 2016 C7 Corvette Z06 isn’t the first vehicle that comes to mind when thinking of transport to promote a various political candidate. But, here we are with this 2016 Corvette Z06 decked out in Bernie Sanders support.
Jalopnik states the Corvette belongs to James Glickenhaus’ daughter, and the Corvette was a gift for her for when he wasn’t busy tearing up race tracks. Underneath is a regular black finish, but his daughter’s husband had a different idea to support their candidate of choice.
In fact, the car was done for his daughter’s visual art school’s project, so they made it happen. No matter your stance, it’s a striking vinyl wrap, especially from the rear.

They hope the vinyl can stay on for some time, but when the time comes to unwrap it all, a black Z06 still resides underneath.

What is this monstrosity?!
Kind of a mixed message, six figure car making this type of political statement. Suppose it’s fitting in a way though, the car was totally free because somebody else paid for it.
This is an absolute disgusting thing to do to a Corvette.
The force is misguided with this one.
It would look worse with a certain New York billionaire’s name on it, even if nobody “else paid for it.”
Christ kid. You’re on a page about cars, that’s going to attract a primary audience of, you guessed it, car guys (and even car gals, who woulda thunk). Car guys do this thing called joking. You shouldn’t take jokes straight up your ass like you do everything else. Learn to have a laugh once in a while, you’ll enjoy life more.
Way past “bad” and basically insulting. Most vinyl wraps I’ve seen are ugly, this one takes 1st place in the ugly category. And I thought a Fisker Karma in a metallic gold wrap was awful with a blue dash cover no less.
Bernie observed we “don’t need a choice of 23 underarm spray deodorants or 18 different pair of sneakers when children are hungry in this country.” So….can a Bernie and socialist adherent choose a Chevrolet, who produces 24 different vehicles? Moreover, how can they drive an $80,000+ corvette when the $12,660 Chevy Spark is practical? If Bernie’s ideas are put in practice there would be no corvettes — because life does not “require” so much awesomeness on four wheels.
