Movie cars are special kind vehicles. They capture our hearts (well, if you happen to be an enthusiast) and play important parts within a film. Sometimes, the vehicle overtakes the actors themselves.
“The League Of Extraordinary Gentlemen” is one of those films, which features a six-wheeled convertible large enough to shame any production Cadillac from the 1960s, a boat on wheels if you will. Road & Track was privileged enough to spend some time behind the wheel of the yacht vehicle that sold this past week on eBay for $61,000.
Measuring in at 24-feet long and 102-inches wide, it’s a hassle to get around, but what more of a statement could one make with a vehicle like this? The vehicle is loosely based on two Cadillac limousines from 1979 to give it its dimensions in proper, stretched form. And there’s a 425 cubic-inch V8 to help propel it along.
Hopefully the new owner finds enough garage space for it, but we’re sure that’s a given with the responsibilities of owning such a vehicle.

And it is a wonder how it was “desgined and built” by Captain Nemo in the 19th centuery!!
