Nowicki Autosport Wants To Make Your C7 Corvette Intake Ducts Carbon Fiber

Nowicki Autosport is known for carbon fiber. They offer a wide variety of the material to install for you 2016 C7 Corvette Stingray and Z06, but their latest creation involves the intake ducts specifically.

The rear-quarter intake ducts are based on the Z06’s units, but they’ve been upgraded to allow 50-percent more air to pass through for the Stingray. The ducts pair well with a Stingray in the pursuit of greater cooling abilities, especially for the transmission or differential. Or both.

The units are produced from 3K, lightweight carbon fiber, which also meets the composite specs for genuine General Motors parts. Not to mention, carbon fiber looks super awesome, and pops well with nearly any color on the C7 Corvette’s color palette.

Carbon fiber will set you back, though. Both the left and right pieces retail for $695. But, your Corvette is worth it, right? That’s what we thought.

  1. While on the surface this may sound logical.. 50-percent more air to keep the transmission and differential cool to function at peak efficiency; but the question is whether more air is needed or is this a waste of money; thus, the only person who could answer this question would be Tadge Juechter who is the C7 Corvette Chief Engineer.
