Man Receives 146 Days In Jail Following Decision To Crash Corvette Into Girlfriend’s Home

Edwin Munson will be spending some time to think about his decision to crash his C4 Corvette into his girlfriend’s home.

Munson, of Maine, led police on a high-speed chase through a handful of neighborhoods after threatening to burn down the home of his girlfriend’s son, and then shoot him. Munson crashed into two police vehicles, before setting his sights on his girlfriend’s home, according to Central Maine.

Munson plowed into the house, where fortunately no one was home at the time of the crash.

The Maine man has pleaded guilty to two counts each of eluding an officer and aggravated criminal mischief, and one count each of driving to endanger and terrorizing. This past Monday, he was sentenced to 146 days in jail for his decisions, and probation for an additional two years.
