The Chevrolet Camaro Z/28 comes with plenty of power on tap from the factory, with 505 horsepower and 481 lb-ft of torque courtesy of the almighty LS7 V8.
For some, though, that’s just not enough. That’s where Lingenfelter Performance Engineering, the aftermarket tuner we all know and love, comes into the picture. It offers high performance cylinder heads that are fitted with a cam performance package, as well as a GT21 camshaft. These components raise the power output to 589 rear-wheel horsepower and 510 rear-wheel torque. That’s a gain of over 100 ponies, factory at-the-wheel figures are 455 rwhp and 420 lb-ft of torque, while keeping things naturally aspirated.
