Opel wants to convey the types of technologies the brand offers today aren’t reserved just for the elite. The brand released its new ad campaign, which features Opel brand ambassador and football manager, Jürgen Klopp.
Klopp is joined by German actor, Ken Duken, as the two manage heavy Liverpool traffic with the help of the Opel Insignia’s adaptive cruise control system. The ACC features technology to keep a safe distance during stop-and-go traffic, and constantly checks the distance of the vehicle up ahead.
The spot concludes with Duken asking if the system makes the driver unnecessary, in which Klopp replies, in a very Klopp-like fashion, “I still make the decisions.”
The campaign runs with a tagline of “The decision-maker’s choice,” pulling together the technology, and the celebrity appeal Opel holds, with this latest series of advertisements. Check out the main spot right up above.
