Chevrolet dropped heavy hints at not only future global product for the brand, but also for Holden. The Chevrolet Colorado Xtreme is said to hide a refreshed Holden Colorado ute, and the Chevrolet Trailblazer Premier has a Colorado 7 refresh behind it flashy bits.
Except, the Holden Colorado 7 will be no longer. Wheels has reported the brand will ditch the Colorado 7 name for the Trailblazer nameplate, once born from the U.S. SUV, but now used globally. Both show cars were developed and assembled at GM Design Australia, and have strong Holden roots.
The publication has confirmed the updated Holden Trailblazer will appear before September for the brand, along with a repositioned image. The nameplate change is said to reflect a differentiation factor from the Colorado pickup and the SUV counterpart, especially as the Trailblazer moves into more refined territory with “Premiere” trimmings.
Holden continues to have a stronger hold on vehicle development as it sources its entire portfolio of vehicles from other global markets, and the Trailblazer and Colorado have been undergoing tuning on local roads since initial development, for proper Australian tastes.

Those wheels look a little more fitting for a “Trailblazer”
It was reported that Acadia will be sold in Australia as Holden. Isn’t Acadia just about the same size as this Trailblazer? If they are the same size, what’s the point of selling them both as Holden?
I feel that they are trying to cater to different people: Acadia for families who won’t go off-road, TrailBlazer for off-road ready people. Then I think they might introduce the Enclave for people who need more space, and Tahoe for people who want a large SUV.
Really nice looking. I wish they’d bring it to the U.S. and make a Voltec version.
I think this is a cool truck . Why doesn’t Chevy bring it to the U.S. , we have a history with the Trailblazer name . There is room in between the Nox and Traverse . And a true 4*4 not a 4 wheel drive minivan which is what a Traverse really is .
