Holden Introduces Trio Of Special Editions Beckoning The Active Consumer

Holden is hitting its Australian consumers up with another round of special editions. This time, the Trax, Colorado and Colorado 7 have received attention.

The brand announced the introduction of the Holden Trax Active, Holden Colorado 7 Trailblazer and Holden Colorado Storm (back by popular demand).

The Holden Trax Active takes advantage of the latest consumer trends surrounding active lifestyles. Specifically, the Trax Active comes with a roof rack installed, along with key styling changes. Starting at $23,990, included with the Trax Active are:

  • 17-inch Alloy wheels
  • Electric Sunroof
  • Chrome Exterior Door Handles
  • ‘Active’ Badging

Holden Colorado 7 Trailblazer

The Holden Colorado 7 Trailblazer places a precursor to the model’s incoming name change. Holden has introduced the Colorado 7 Trailblazer as a special edition, before the Trailblazer name graces the SUV around September. Priced at $48,990, included with the special edition are:

  • New 18-inch alloy wheels
  • Z71 Masked Headlamps
  • Rear Trailblazer 4×4 Decal
  • Roof Spoiler Body Color
  • Trailblazer Side Badges
  • Colorado Branded Bonnet
  • Protector
  • Carpet Floor Mats

Holden Colorado Storm

Finally, among massive popularity, the Holden Colorado Storm returns for the 2016 model year. Offering more premium equipment at a better value, priced only $500 over an LTZ crew cab. The Colorado Storm includes:

  • New 18-inch alloy wheels
  • Black nudge bar
  • Black sports bar
  • Storm branded bonnet protector
  • Storm badges (rear doors)
  • Carpet floor mats (front and rear)

All three special edition vehicles will coincide with the introduction of the Step Up At Holden campaign, with an overall objective to provide better value and greater functionality for whatever vehicle fits a customer’s lifestyle.

“Australians see their car as a supporting asset to their lives so we have designed our sales and new products to ensure we cater for a range of different life stages and lifestyles,” said Holden’s Executive Director of Marketing, Geraldine Davys.

Each special edition will be on sale this month, and all arrive with Holden’s lifetime capped price service program.
