This presidential election is shaping up to be even uglier than an 1980’s Oldsmobile Cutlass. Coincidentally, such a vehicle is being offered for sale, and it’s been driven and owned by a current Democratic candidate – Hillary Clinton.
Before the comment section erupts in fire, do not take this as some sort of subliminal endorsement of Hillary Clinton.
What we have here is a 1986 Oldsmobile Cutlass Ciera that is being sold by former White House head gardener Mike Lawn. According to Lawn, this is the last car that Clinton actually drove, and it is even said to have been used by Chelsea Clinton as a learner car. Documentation shows that Hillary Rodham Clinton took delivery of the car on March 20th, 1986, from the Balch Motor Company Inc. of Little Rock, Arkansas.
This historical relevancy gives the Cutlass an air of exclusivity, which is compounded by the fact that it has just 30,000 original miles on it – making it a rare specimen. The description states that it is “in generally original and correct order with excellent documentation.” We wonder if these two aspects are enough to make it appealing in the eyes of the collector.
The car is set to be posted on eBay today – April 13 – with no reserve. Hagerty has valued the car $8,700 given its condition, and we’re quite interested to see what the final price will be. If you have any guesses feel free to leave ’em in the comment section below.

A boring, completely run of the mill, unremarkable, 86 Cutlass Ciera. Neither a good reflection of GM’s best effort, or the owner’s taste in anything for that matter.
