GMC has released the latest in its digital-only spots, ramping up efforts to brand the division as not only the “Professional Grade”, but also with “Precision.”
It takes a different turn from the black and white ads and sports parallels featuring music by The Who. In fact, it takes a more humorous turn.
The stuntman explains how precision acts, what it is and what it is not, along with some crashing moments and a fight scene. This all while the 2016 GMC Sierra sits looking studly.
We get the message, but it does seem like a strange turn for the brand’s overall message. Especially when comparing it to the television spots.
However, it did earn a smirk occasionally for some unexpected turns and clever writing. Check it out for yourself.

Precision should be spending money on safety instead of stupid commercials. I want my tax money back. F 150 aced the small overlap crash test while the GM twins were rated marginal. New GM = Old GM.
Really?
Try harder
I don’ t like the new Aluminum pop can steel they use in the new Fords….
It’s official – this marque has completely lost it’s compass.
Black & white fashion designer commercials.
SF Giants pitchers commercials.
Spokesmen with kittens, and babies, and now, cows and stuntmen on-line.
Using the word “precision” is pretty ineffective glue to hold all these disparate messages together.
I have no idea where they’re going, but I suspect schizophrenia is not a good marketing plan for GMC.
