The United Arab Emirates has become known for its outlandish fleet of police vehicles, including Corvettes, Bugattis, Ferraris and more. But, the police force isn’t the only fleet full of rad rescue vehicles.
LSXtv reports the Dubai, UAE fire and rescue department has added a 2016 C7 Corvette Stingray, and it’s likely the quickest fire engine in the region. Dubbed “Unit One-Seven”, the C7 Corvette is done up in canary yellow paint with red striping and graphics to announce itself as a true part of fleet.
But, this isn’t the first Corvette actually. Dubai fire and rescue already employs two additional C7 Corvettes in the fleet. It allows crews to manuever the Dubai city streets with ease over the traditional fire engine. No kidding.
Yes, it has sirens, but the 6.2-liter LT1 V8 engine will likely announce its presence first and foremost.
