Dozens Of Vauxhall Corsas Are Being Stripped By Thieves In England

We’re sure the Vauxhall Corsa is a fine automobile, but it doesn’t really register on the “hot” scale. Well, it kind of does actually. Because there are hundreds of hot Vauxhall Corsa parts likely on the black market right now.

The Gazette reports dozens of local Vauxhall Corsas have been broken into, dismantled and damaged as thieves steal parts from the cars. Front bumpers, head lights, license plates, wheels, steering columns and much more are being targeted by the thieves.

Local police have no leads at this moment over who is targeting the cars, and where the parts are ending up.

Vauxhall stated it has no idea why thieves would target this particular model, and police are urging owners to park their vehicles in a garage or where thieves don’t have access to the front end of the vehicle.

The latest cases may be in relation to the more than 500 offenses tallied in which parts from Corsas and Astras were stripped over the past two years.
