Cadillac Chooses Kovert Creative As New Public Relations Keeper

General Motors continues to carry out a global review of public relations agencies, consolidating and hearing pitches from incumbents and new faces. However, Cadillac has made its decision regarding who will be handling its influence lifestyle relations.

Kovert Creative has been selected by Cadillac, after hearing numerous pitches from agencies, including FleishmanHillard, which had been handling influencer lifestyle relations for Cadillac, according to PR Week.

“Kovert is our full global agency, responsible for all brand, product, and corporate comms strategies,” said Cadillac global comms director Andrew Lipman. “One thing that set Kovert apart was their highly creative nature when it comes to content, so there will be an inherent social nature to a lot of the work they will do.”

Kovert itself is a startup, but has proven itself with creativity, and Cadillac feels the two are a perfect match as Cadillac continues to be reborn.

“Kovert is a startup, but a very established startup when you look at the caliber of people that joined Kovert immediately and their experience,” said Lipman. “That combined with this intense focus on creativity and content makes their agency align very much with what Cadillac is doing in a lot of ways.”

Cadillac’s new PR partner will begin with supporting the launches of the 2016 Cadillac CT6 and 2017 Cadillac XT5, important staples for the brand’s portfolio moving forward.

Kovert will take on Cadillac’s business effective immediately, and the brand has no plans to bring on any supporting agencies.

  1. Sounds interesting and I don’t think “Dare Greatly” will be discontinued but will be enhanced and get better with this new agency over time.

  2. I read that the Kovert guys were the PR agency for Audi when Lipman and Johan worked there … no doubt there’s some sort of comfort level there.
