Autoline Teases Cadillac President Johan de Nysschen Interview: Video

Cadillac had a big press week following the reported cancellation of its flagship CT8 luxury sedan. Autoline broke the news earlier this week, and now, its teasing a high-profile interview.

Cadillac President Johan de Nysschen will appear on today’s episode of Autoline, and the news source has supplied a brief preview to the discussion.

de Nysschen talks about Cadillac in the U.S. and globally, but what we’re all hoping for, is some sort of public explanation for the CT8’s cancellation.

However, even if such news isn’t brought forth, it will be interesting to hear what the Cadillac chief has to say. The brand is currently biding time as it develops its slew of crossovers and SUVs, following the launch of the 2016 Cadillac CT6 and 2017 Cadillac XT5. Check out the brief teaser up above before the show airs later today.

    1. I bet he may not be a fan of you either LOL!

One has to be open minded and fair as we have yet to see any of his products and very little of his plans. All we have seen is left over projects as it takes time to make changes like he wants.

It test will be coming very soon when the first JDN models arrive.

I am neither a fan or foe at this point as I have nothing to judge him by yet,

God knows Cadillac will just be better with some stability. They have had so many leaders of late it is like too many cooks in the kitchen.

  2. General Motors CEO Mary Barra should admit to having made a mistake in hiring Johan De Nysschen; then promote David Leone from Cadillac Chief Engineer to President as Leone has had his hand on helping transform Cadillac to what it is today and knows what is necessary to get people to buy Cadillac cars again.

    1. What model has JDN failed on at this point? Cadillac has yet to release anything under his direction as you can’t do that in less than two years.

At this point they have improved Cue and they have just started a new marketing program you have only seen in the first stages.

Leone has done well under the pressure from the board but he is like the others intimidated by the board and like the other lifers at GM afraid to make many moves due to their Tenure.

Or have you never considered why the leadership at Cadillac has been a revolving door for how many years now?

I am not going to say JDN has all the answers but I am willing to give him the time to succeed or fail before I condemn or praise.

As of this point he is like a Football coach that has yet to play his first game. Lets give him time since he has many models in the next 4-5 years that will be his. They will tell us then for sure if he was right or wrong. zzz
Or do you know all about what is coming that the rest of us have not yet seen?
