Are you saying it can’t be had with a Manuel anymore? Yikes.
The manual is still available across all models… the one that was deleted was the specialized manual gearbox for the RS trim level (which is now a package and doesn’t have a unique transmission).
How big is the tank whenever it says smaller tank is deleted lol?
Too bad they didn’t make it better looking.
One thing Chevrolet left out was the LTG 2.0L DOHC-4v 4-cyl turbo from the Malibu that’s rated at 252 horsepower as this sub-$20K pocket rocket would be get a lot of younger buyers who want something fun.
That sounds major wheel spin everytime you step on the gas pedal
That power, plus a bit more, worked reasonably well in the Cobalt SS and HHR SS, should do fine in a Sonic. Sure, AWD or RWD would help, but 250-275 HP would function in a Sonic, I believe.
No need to waste their time offering “peppy ” options without some power.
I keep getting told by executives there is no market for a “hot hatch’……….give me a break. A 2 or 4 door Cruze SS or Sonic with the 2.0 turbo would have sold ….but that ship has sailed. I have an ’09 Cobalt SS and it’s a great car.
Go ahead ….give the market away ….just like the Blazer market….and the minivan market…….and why are we re-badging a Nissan 200 when GM sells a comparable product in Europe?
Everybody does not want ,nor can’t afford a Cadillac.
And let’s talk about customers for life?
Naw….not wasting my breath.
Have a great Sunday…..isn’t the weather fine??
I agree we had an,07 SS sedan with the 2.4 and almost traded for an 09 with the 2lt. We decided to wait for the Cruze . bought one in 2011 , ltz rs .its great little car in need of power . My next will be verano with 2l t.
someday i’ll get the car I wanted a 2 lt ss cobalt sedan.
