The 2017 Cadillac XT5 has only begun production, and it has already impressed WardsAuto with its interior quality. The latest luxury midsize crossover has been named to the 2016 10 Best Interiors List by the publication.
WardsAuto called the XT5 out for “first-rate materials” and the integration of advanced technology, such as the rear camera mirror. The new interior design uses authentic materials and plenty of decorative trim, notably at the top of the XT5 range with the Platinum trim.
Each vehicle is scored on the aesthetics, design harmony, materials, ergonomics, safety, comfort, value and fit-and-finish, which the XT5 impressed in. Judges even enjoyed the seamless connectivity in CUE, liking the human-to-machine interface very much.
Finally, GM’s luxury division is getting the details right.

Worth mentioning Camaro’s interior also made the list.
Further evidence of the improvements being made a Cadillac.
Recognition like this goes a long way in building brand equity and winning more mind share.
Funny they mentioned the XT5 but not the CT6?…..Either way, it’s good to see improvements being made in interior refinement over at Cadillac!
Simply interior but very elegant¡¡
Great to see. Had it been built on the Alpha platform, Cadillac would have a world-beating mini-Escalade.
Cadillac has invested and is investing money to improve,, and is doing well now we will see future models.
