2017 Cadillac ATS-V Gets Updated CUE Infotainment System, Low Mass Battery Bracket And More

Following in the footsteps of the 2017 Cadillac ATS Sedan and 2017 Cadillac ATS Coupe, the Cadillac ATS-V is getting some new features and changes for the 2017 model year.

The 2017 Cadillac ATS-V continues to be available in two models:

  1. ATS-V Sedan (model code 6AE69)
  2. ATS-V Coupe (model code 6AE47)

There’s only one new feature for 2017: the following distance indicator. But the list of changes is much longer, the most notable of which is an update to the CUE Infotainment system to version 2.6, which now includes Collection and Teen Driver:

  • Collection enables users to browse, select and install apps to your vehicle. Apps include Pandora, iHeart Radio, The Weather Channel and more (data plan rates may apply).
  • Teen Driver is a configurable feature that lets owners activate customizable vehicle settings associated with a key fob to encourage safe driving behavior. It can limit certain vehicle features, and it prevents certain safety systems from being turned off. An in-vehicle report gives you information on your teen’s driving habits and helps you to continue to coach your new driver.
  • Android Auto (launched interim 16MY)

In addition, the 2017 Cadillac ATS-V sees an improvement in the performance of the front seats and restricts the Jet Black with Saffron accents interior color from being equipped with the Red Obsession Tintcoat exterior color.

And last but not least, the high-performance sedan and coupe see the following package-level revisions:

  • Lane Keep Assist description changes to Lane Keep Assist with Lane Departure Warning
  • Driver Awareness Package now includes Following Distance Indicator, which is included and only available when the Safety and Security Package is ordered
  • Track Performance Package includes bracket for a low mass battery. A low-mass battery can be purchased at additional cost from AC Delco or the GM EPC (Electronic Parts Catalog).

  1. HID headlights with LED lights should be a standard feature of this car. Halogens on this car make the front-end look cheap.

    2. It is weird and dumb. I dont understand, why they can’t change that on the ats -v as well, since it is the same car lmfao same goes to the regular cts and the v… OMG, they are idiots

  3. Why do people complain about the instrument panel? I’ve seen it in person, I’ve even driven the ats and I am sure what the big problem is? The panel gives me the info I need to drive, gives me the info of how the cars is performing, so what more is needed?

  4. The Teen Driver Mode for an ATS-V should be “Car Refuses to Move from Park Until an Adult is Seated in the Driver’s Seat”
