2009 Lingenfelter C6 Corvette ZR1 Screams On The Dyno: Video

Not too long ago, 600 hp was a lofty sum to be pushing to the pavement. Now, we have a Challenger to dust that number.

1,000 is the new 600, and this 2009 Lingenfelter C6 Corvette ZR1 surpasses the “new” with a staunch 1,400 hp to the rear wheels. Lingenfelter Performance Engineering has once again worked its magic with the 2009 Corvette ZR1, and swapped in a custom LPE 417 cubic-inch crate engine with Lingenfelter CNC LS9 cylinder heads and Lingenfelter custom grind camshaft.

For forced induction, LPE chose to pair its crate engine with a pair of custom GT40-88R turbos, with cooling power arriving from a LPE custom intercooler intake. And all of this is done on a factory ECU, too. However, this 2009 Corvette ZR1 is running only the finest corn, aka, E85.
