We’ve seen a quarter-scale RC Corvette, but we haven’t seen this – an actual Chevrolet C6 Corvette that can be controlled by a remote. And with it, the creator expands on the meaning of what it means to have a toy.
That’s right, a real-life Corvette that can be operated with a remote by use of radio frequencies. And what better place to test such a device than at the track?
If you click play you’ll get to see the genius behind this idea along with his crew at the Raceway Venray track in New Zealand, and their seeing just what they can do with this new hand-held power. We have to say it’s a little strange to see an un-manned Corvette pulling donuts and coasting around the track, but the concept itself isn’t foreign when you consider the auto industry’s push towards autonomous vehicles. That said, we don’t know if we’d be as brave as the guy who goes for a ride in the RC car, even the makers of the video said it was scary.
