Calling the 2016 Cadillac CTS-V the best American car ever driven is one hell of a compliment, even if Matt Farah sidesteps and says the Ford GT actually may be a little better. Still, we’re talking about a compliant luxury sedan that can do battle with the best.
Farah took to the Streets of Willow to grab a few laps in Cadillac’s brute that is the 2016 CTS-V. With the 2016 C7 Corvette Z06’s 6.2-liter LT4 supercharged V8 under the hood, a quick-shifting eight-speed automatic and stupid sticky Pilot rubber, it’s a recipe for smiles.
And smile does Farah do. A lot. Farah giggles at the back end as it steps out with throttle, charmed by the playfulness of the CTS-V, which is first and foremost a luxury vehicle. But, in V trimmings, it becomes much more. Check out the video for yourself up above.
