Vauxhall Teams Up With Edith Bowman To Keep Kids Entertained Over Easter Travels

Many realize travel with youngsters is not the easiest. Patience runs thin, and “are we there yet” is thrown around after nearly every mile market. Vauxhall understands, and wants to alleviate some stress by teaming up with Edith Bowman to keep the kids entertained.

Vauxhall and Bowman will release three popular children’s books for Vauxhall OnStar, narrated by Bowman, for the kids to have a listen to while traveling this coming Easter. It’s estimated that 16 million cars will be on British roads this Easter, and Vauxhall estimates travel can take up to 32-percent longer with children.

The three stories – Shifty McGifty and Slippery Sam, Shifty McGifty and Slippery Sam: The Cat Burglar and Hubble Bubble Granny Trouble – may be streamed as audio, or video, featuring Bowman in either medium.

Narrator Edith Bowman commented, “Reading or listening to stories has always been something I’ve done with my kids from a very early age, both at home or on our travels. It’s one of my favourite things to do as a parent, so being a bedtime storyteller was a dream for me. The idea is brilliant, using that time when kids are stuck in the car to entertain them, help them get some rest and give parents some peace!”

The stories will be available this Easter through Vauxhall’s Backseat Bedtime Stories collection.
