Opel GT Concept Prepares To Grace Its Ancestors At Techno Classica

A great German automotive tradition is in for a very special guest this year. The Opel GT concept, which made its debut at the 2016 Geneva Motor Show, will be in attendance at the 2016 Techno Classica.

The Techno Classica, held in Essen, Germany, will house the greatest examples from the Opel GT’s lifetime, with the timeline now complete since the latest GT concept. The show will also celebrate the concept’s German debut after its buzz in Geneva.

Opel’s recognizes the GT’s tuning history, with the original production car falling into the hands of countless tuners with specialization in the Kadett. To honor tuners, Opel will bring an original production GT, and three variants from well known tuners including Conrero, Gerent and Irmscher.

The Techno Classica takes place between April 6 and 10.
