According to the owner, as reported by Corvette Blogger, this is the world’s fastest C7 Corvette Z06. It claimed the title laying down a 9.81-second quarter-mile time at 141 mph. Impressive results.
What’s more impressive is the budget build this C7 Z06 has gone through to achieve the record. The video above states only an IW Lower Pulley, AFE Cold Air Intake, Corsa X-Pipe and drag radials encompass the build. The engine has also been tuned for 93/109 octane.
We doubt the record holder will be holding it for long, though. Someone, somewhere is plotting a faster pass. And we have no doubt it will happen sooner, rather than later.
