Project CARS is the latest of hundreds automotive video games to reach out to a hardcore fanbase. The neat thing about the game is that it was crowd-funded, and pushed through development by fans.
Let’s not get into the critiques and some poor reviews of the gameplay, but let’s talk about the latest metal the game has introduced.
Project CARS has launched its latest downloadable content featuring US race cars. Highlighting the pack are Corvette and Cadillac, specifically.
The Corvette C7.R has been digitalized and available with the pack, fresh from its two latest, and major motorsports victories. The C7.R brought home the win in last year’s 24 Hours of Le Mans, and won its class, crossing the line with a 1-2 finish at 24 Hours of Daytona in January.
According to IGN, Slightly Mad Studios recruited C7.R driver Tommy Milner to help recreate the entire experience behind the wheel of the racer.
Finally, the Cadillac ATS-V.R is included, which should be a delight to fans. The ATS-V.R and its 3.6-liter LF4.R twin-turbo V6 should be a hoot to scream around in the digital world.
