Ford Fiesta ST Takes On A C7 Corvette Stingray: Video

It seems like an unlikely, strange matchup. But, there’s a story behind the pairing. Obviously, a 2016 C7 Corvette Stingray will slay a Ford Fiesta ST, that’s a given. But, what about when a pro-racing driver gets behind the wheel of the Fiesta, and an amateur driver hops into the C7 Corvette?
That’s the premise of this Pro versus Joe battle. Formula driver Conrad Grunewald was strapped into a Fiesta ST with a 100-yard start to face off against the average guy in his C7 Corvette. The power difference is a pretty large one.
197 hp is produced by the Fiesta ST’s 1.6-liter turbo-four during overboost. That’s fairly measly when comparing it to the Corvette’s near 500 rear-wheel horsepower (due to some aftermarket modifications). But, if you can’t walk the walk, it’s futile.

Meah!
And this is where the guys at Ford is gonna be like, “haha yeah even our fiesta ST subcompact beat the Corvette”
Silly!
Until the ST starts having clutch problems. If it weren’t for that my GF would’ve probably bought an ST instead of her Sonic RS.
Hopefully for the ST guy the vette will cook it’s engine.
Now do it swapping the pro and the joe. What a stupid comparison.
stupid stupid stupid Joe couldn’t drive his way out of a wet paper bag so stupid.
