As we said previously, we don’t think Cadillac had its moment during the first debut of the “Dare Greatly” campaign. We do think, however, it inched much closer with its second round of branding and advertising. Analytics would back that statement up, too.
Automotive News has released its latest viral video rankings for the week, and Cadillac’s latest “Don’t You Dare” spot has grossed to number two. Not too shabby regarding an ad that only shows the 2016 Cadillac CT6 for three-seconds at the end of the spot.
But, this is about branding, not just showcasing a car. The inspiring message behind “Don’t You Dare” may have struck the right nerve with viewers after the campaign had gone radio silent for the past months.
It’s good to have you back, Cadillac, keep up the work.

I can see “We Dare You” coming.
I expect to see one to three more levels play out here.
I know you shot down my “beast” idea, but this is pretty freaking daring.
From an artistic point of view, this spot is amazing. But from a branding point of view it misses the mark. I too went on the web to see the ad again, but not to learn about Cadillac. It was to find out about these incredible individuals. Great art but horrible branding
