A Recap Of The Opel Press Conference At The 2016 Geneva Motor Show: Video

The Opel conference at the 2016 Geneva International Motor Show preceded an award ceremony in which the all-new Astra was honored with yet another title, the 2016 European Car of the Year. Following the great achievement, two Opel vehicles made their world debuts – the Opel GT Concept and the Mokka X.

The Mokka X will offer Opel’s most recent technology, including Adaptive Forward Lighting LEDs , and the safety features of the Opel Eye camera. And let’s not forget that rather handsome facelift.

Ah yes, the GT Concept. Shall we compare thee to a summer’s day? We suppose not, since summer is actually coming, and if you haven’t already heard, the GT Concept is not. But who knows, maybe the design has sparked ideas for future cars that will make it to production. Maybe it’ll be produced as an entry-level Corvette (though that’s just our imaginations going for a run).

In any case, hit play for a quick recap on Ope’s recent big news.

  1. Opel and Buick have the best head lamps in the industry with those stern brows. They look fantastic on Moxxa X and Astra.
I love when Opel wins. I’m so tired of the many VW fanboys. Ultimately, GM and PSA build the best cars in Europe with VW a distant 3ed only if you exclude Asian (Mazda) inports.
