If a Chevrolet Tahoe is too pedestrian, and a Cadillac Escalade is far too flashy, GMC has the answer. The GMC Yukon has long bridged the gap between General Motors’ body-on-frame SUVs, and it’s a good one. We like it quite a bit.
Sharing our favorable opinion is U.S. News & World Report, which has named the 2016 GMC Yukon the best large SUV for families. Notably, the 2016 Yukon scored its win with bountiful features, comfort and capability.
“The Yukon has the most family-friendly features in the class,” said Jamie Page Deaton, managing editor for U.S. News Best Cars. “The Apple CarPlay and in-car Wi-Fi are really cutting edge, standout features. The Yukon also won because it has such a high US News score – it gets really positive reviews not only for its space and comfort, but also its performance.”
The award comes after another honor earlier this year; the 2016 GMC Yukon was ranked highest in its segment for the third-straight year in the 2016 J.D. Power Vehicle Dependability Study.

Yukon and Yukon Denali are great vehicles but the price has gone into the “Stupid” zone now. I know its the highest profit maker for GM but if they want more market share they need to be realistic. Although Arlington Plant production is at high capacity and demand is very high now with this pricing so Im betting the price wont change.
