Back in January, we pegged that the 2016 Buick Envision will be available in five exterior colors. However, this was before there was an order guide for the compact luxury crossover, so we were making an educated estimate. But now that order guide for the crossover is available, we can finally say with certainty that the 2016 Buick Envision will be offered in these six exterior colors:
- Bronze Alloy Metallic
- Ebony Twilight Metallic
- Galaxy Silver Metallic
- Midnight Amethyst Metallic
- Saffron Red Metallic
- Summit White
The first five colors are premium extra-cost hues (we won’t know their costs until the configurator goes live), leaving Summit White to be the only color that doesn’t carry an extra charge.
To note, the 2017 Buick Envision will replace Saffron Red Metallic with Chili Red Metallic.

Why no metallic white? Why does GM do this to Buick?
They need a nice dark blue, not bright and not too dark so it mistaken for black, the Dark Sapphire now used is too dark.
