Redline Motorsports 2016 Chevy Camaro Runs 10-Seconds On Stock Engine And Twin-Turbos: Video

Every drag racer, amateur or professional, yearns for a 10-second car. Hell, even Vin Diesel coined the phrase with the younger generation in the original The Fast And The Furious 15 years ago (15 years? We feel old…).

15 years may have gone by, but the pursuit for power has never waned. In fact, it’s only gotten more incredible with even more powerful factory engine displacements in this golden age of horsepower. The 2016 Chevrolet Camaro, and its 6.2-liter LT1 V8 engine, is only one testament to this.

Redline Motorsports is the latest to take the 2016 Camaro racing, and it has managed to create a 10-second car with the stock LT1 engine, and its prototype system, twin-turbo kit. The 2016 Camaro is currently running nine-pounds of boost as it awaits an even larger engine swap, according to Redline.

We can only imagine what tuning division and performance houses will continue to do with the 2016 Camaro as the car becomes more readily available. Check out the run for yourself right up above.
