Who cares what it looks like, it’s a truck, right? Well, maybe, but who says that one can’t do work in style (or that trucks are only used for work, for that matter)? In any case, the Isuzu D-Max and Alpha Type-E Canopy is one of the more aesthetically appealing truck-n-cap combos we’ve seen, and that’s worth noting.
The canopy was developed to fit any double cab Isuzu D-Max, and is color matched to the body color of the truck. The black rear pillars and tinted windows give it somewhat of a wrap-around glass appearance when looking at the truck from the rear. We think it has a much more refined, modern, and sleek look to it.
True, everyone has their own opinion, and collectively we wouldn’t say that traditional canopy designs were created with ‘style’ in mind, but Isuzu says this one was. And it leaves us wondering where canopy caps are for the Chevrolet Colorado or GMC Canyon here in the states.
The price tag of £1,381 (~$1952) isn’t too shabby when you consider the cost of an aftermarket or used hard-top. We see it as one of those things you’d probably still get even if you didn’t need it, simply because its looks make it easier to justify the purchase.

Not a bad price at all for a very nice looking cap. A top end tonneau will run in the $900 range
Body style would look pretty sweet on an extended cab short bed, be like the old Blazer
Especially with a disappearing back window…….
will this fit a Chevy Colorado 2019 Bison?
