ICON Reimagines A 1970 GMC Jimmy In A Modern-Industrial Fashion: Video

ICON, based in Los Angeles, California, has been responsible for numerous restorations of classic off-road 4×4 models. Today, we decided to highlight their latest creation: the 1970 GMC Jimmy, dubbed “The Reformer.”

In the video above, our host takes us through everything included to make an ICON build special. In particular, this 1970 Jimmy was approached with a modern-industrial frame of mind, rather than a retro one. Still, it looks incredible, and it’s extraordinarily capable now.

That’s because ICON does away with the old technology, even though there is a special place for factory parts, and replaces it with modern pieces and bits. That goes for suspension, powertrain and more to create a unique build for customers.

Check out the 1970 GMC Jimmy Reformation in the video above, and let us know if you’re digging the build in the comments right down down below.

  1. Yep, ICON builds great vehicles that I would consider purchsing. However their prices go beyond what I consider a good value. Only the very rich can afford their vehicles.
