Gibson Performance Asks You How You Want Their 2016 Camaro Exhaust Kit To Sound Like

The team over at Gibson Performance Exhausts are currently developing two new exhaust systems for the sixth-generation, 2016 Chevrolet Camaro. To ensure the best sound, Gibson Performance wants input from car and Camaro enthusiasts to tune the most beastly roar.

So far, the company is developing two different exhaust systems — the main differences being the volume and intensity of the Camaro’s barks.

If the stock growl is just too tame for you, GPE suggests its Gibson’s dual three-inch CFT mufflers. These are paired with a louvered “x-design” that creates a slightly “milder” sound. Gibson claims the system remains calm from the inside and does not suffer from drone on the highway.

With the second exhaust system, GPE turns up the volume even louder with its NMA mufflers. Unlike the x-design of the CFT mufflers, the NWA’s have a “straight-through” design that reeks havoc and produces an additional 10 hp. NMA mufflers also claim to have no annoying drone on the highway.

Watch what Gibson Performance Exhaust has created so far below. If you think something should be tweaked, contact them on their website.
